Fee For Service Model

 

Please contact the office directly to discuss specific costs. Fees will vary based on the service provided.  Generally, initial psychiatric evaluations and one-time psychiatric consultations will be higher in fees than routine psychotropic medication management appointments.  Therapy appointments may be open to discussion based on frequency and situation.  Collaborative efforts by Dr. Vijayakanthan may be billed according to the time spent speaking with other providers and family members outside of set appointments.

 

Insurance

 

VPS is not part of any insurance panels and thus fees will be considered out of pocket.  As a courtesy, however, VPS works with The Practice Management Group, Inc., which is a billing agency that can submit a claim on your behalf to your primary insurance carrier. This service will require your permission and must be coordinated through Dr. Vijayakanthan at the time of visit.  If you would like an itemized invoice, one can be provided to you at your request.
